      1. Potato Chip

        Hey, he’s delivering

      2. Cecilio

      3. Grug

        what else do you do?

      4. tokyo

because anything we ask is not family friendly

      5. Bunny Tsukino

        But that everyone needed

    2. Andrew Stockwell

Idk man I think the worst Elon sketch was Gen Z hospital. That was garbage.

    3. John Lane

You have a John Mulaney type delivery lol

    4. Sean Patrick Hamilton

      You should check out SCTV

    5. troy millay

The best sketch of all time was " sweaty's salty balls" with alec Baldwin

    6. CoolMINER624

Ngl I found the Elon one kinda funny, parts of it were just so bad they were good. I will agree though there were definitely a few awkward ones

    7. Lela Gray

dang drew nothing but facts on this. I feel exactly the same way. A couple of my fave episodes from this season were Daniel Kaluuya and Rege Jean Page. Those were nearly flawless in my opinion.

    8. oliver jude

i still can’t believe they didnt bring darrell hammond back for trump, i think he may have almost killed himself over it

    9. Clay3613

Don't you dare fucking diss the late, great Charles Rocket! Your Zoomer is showing.

    10. julian edd

      are you john mulaney?

    11. Robert Buxton

The Iran-Contra sketch is amazing, and I wasn't even born yet.

    12. Purple Cherry

Snl was only funny with Norm Macdonald- everything else is trash

    13. Lenaric Insun

      Nice vid dude

    14. ThatOneCactus

You rock Einstein, SNL is as good as your videos

    15. Styrlin Rowland

Omg there’s a filmed version of Trevor and the virgin 2 now

    16. Lucomooco 123

Why would you do this to yourself

    17. i think coolsville sucks

bill hader/kristen wiig/fred armisen/ jason sudeikis/seth meyers was *chefs kiss* amazing. doesn’t mean other people can’t be funny! anyone can be funny sometimes even pete davidson

    18. The Man

My family and I stopped watching since late 2016 cuz all they talked about was the election and we just had enough at that point.

    19. Team Rammyz

The JLo episode was the BEST thing recently

    20. Juan Ignacio Tricarico

    21. rachel campbell

every single one of drew’s videos is the epitome of “i never knew i needed this”

    22. Johnny Sanchez

      Good stuff

    23. Ryan Eggers

how is possible to not even mention kristen wiig ONCE

    24. D. Ross

    25. Stephanie Baird

      "president carlson" HOW DARE YOU

    26. Matthew H

      sln 👍

    27. Becca A

You said everything I was thinking

    28. masseyjordan Mj

Adam driver was fucking amazing in his sketchs

    29. Juan Carlos Rivera

30:50 honestly what he says here is so true. People are just being dumb and ignorant. SNL has always been a hit or miss, since the 70s and 80s. SNL is still good it just has some bad moments

    30. RpgBear

Selective memory sure is a great thing :D

    31. Catherine Colwell

Wait is this the guy who hopes the road work ahead

    32. zijuiy wttuy

    33. Hardware 570

Adam Sandler was never funny. The man has about as much comedic talent as Lele Pons. Yep, I went there lol.

    34. Charlotte Hobbs

      good vid

      1. zijuiy wttuy

        It was never that good.

    35. Suzanne Kruyswijk

SNL is one part of American culture I cannot grasp. I've seen and understood the sketches for about 8 years. So weird, uncomfortable and not funny at all to me. It bothers me to no end because I like American comedy, I feel like I'm missing out 😂

    36. Alexis Coad

      I like

    37. Jake Stumm

Frank Zappa was the best musical guest they ever had, hands down

    38. mrkrinkle72

I'm old and I remember just how the 80-89 years stunk! The only redeeming things were the bands like DEVO, Fear, and the Talking Heads.

    39. crash 001

you look like sid the sloth lmfao

    40. Sonam C

As a british teenager, I've never seen a single episode of SNL yet if you think that means I won't watch every second of this, you're wrong.

    41. Nur Yuhanis

can you do madtv?? i feel like it's way better than snl

    42. jeffbrownme2

Please don't joke about Tucker Carlson being President... *shivers*

    43. Daw

aren’t you the „road work ahead“ guy?

    44. Sonia Fisher

The strong cry summatively launch because cirrus micrencephaly care midst a handsomely format. dusty, aromatic geometry

    45. Demonique Lewis

SNL started as a risk taking snap shot of society with extreme musical guests and not ready for prime time comedians. It hasn’t changed that much except it takes less risks.

    46. johnulcer

I lived through the era of the '90s cast. Nobody ever thought Adam Sandler was one of the best cast members at the time. He got a lot of hate. As a general rule of them people ALWAYS hate the present cast members (because they're replacing people that others grew up watching or had fond memories of), and then look back years later with nostalgia. So that might be happening with Sandler, but in general he's always been kind of a punchline from real comedy fans/critics because a lot of people thought he was childish and not very funny. It wasn't until Punch Drunk Love that critics began to go softer on him. Don't believe me? Go look up Roger Ebert's reviews of everything pre- Punch Drunk and then look at how much more lenient he was on Sandler afterward.

    47. Some Sandman

The only thing good about SNL was Norm Macdonald.

    48. Stephanie Castro

Can u do a similar segment regarding mad tv?

    49. Andrew

      It was never that good.

    50. JOB LIAR

i liked the elon episode ):

    51. paul spahn

Just here to see anybody defend Rob Snider

    52. Feelin Awesome

I agree sometimes they aren't funny but sometimes they are hilarious!

    53. the running man

I wouldn't be surprised if tucker Carlson won the presidency

    54. Space Cadet Silver Boots

Adam Sandler has always been terrible !!!

    55. Space Cadet Silver Boots

You can't talk about Mr Bill like that

    56. Sam Spencer

This is a great video but I think SNL is the funniest now that it’s ever been (maybe not this last year but everything before this). The good sketches aren’t just ridiculous but seem to have a good structure and meaningful twist to them like black jeopardy. All the way through the 90s and 00s most of the best sketches were just high energy performance based stuff. Need more cowbell is only funny because will Ferrell is killing it. Take him out and it’s just a ridiculously dumb sketch. I get the politics hate and I’m not a big fan of Baldwin’s trump but I love McKinnons impressions and they totally redeem them for me. Her Opossum Jeff Sessions was so incredible only surpassed by her vampire Giuliani. I think these writers are much better to bounce ideas off of than other writers. Bring on Mulaney, Fey, Hader as hosts and yes those episodes have better writing than the rest of the season but they also have way more dimensionality than the sketches from their eras. How many times would I have to see Kristen Wigg with weird arms popping bubbles. Skits like that were on every week and it was the same joke every time the whole sketch and every time it was repeated. Talk about a waste of talent. There was so much wasted talent in Kristen Wiggs era when everyone from that era have gone on to have incredible careers. Also Colin Jost and Michael Che are in my opinion by far and away the best weekend update hosts the show has ever had. They play off of each other so insanely well and their joke swaps bits are just so astoundingly funny in so many ways. I think late 80s and mid 2010s were the two absolute peaks of the show.

    57. Comrade Marxalo

Wario Musk made me die a little inside

    58. AxleCarp

Broke: SNL hasn't been good since the 70s Woke: SNL has averaged one watchable sketch per episode for most of its run

    59. Blue Green

SNL matters to drew because he’s a true comedian, the comedy world doesn’t make sense to regular audiences. But drew is part of that world and he gets it. That’s all 🤷🏽‍♀️

    60. Elise Krautheimer

you had me until "President Carlson"

SNL reviews used to be good but now they suck. Just kidding this is a great video. Thanks for causing me to self-reflect.

    62. Leroy Jenkins

Biden jokes are garbage. Look VP doesn’t want to go to the border... hmmmmmm. They talk about wax museum garbage. Biden wave to nobody or getting lost on stage. No jokes at all about it. Biden driving a truck running looking at a wall. Wtf. Garbage when you can watch the news.

    63. Darth Selrahc

      I've never liked the show.

    64. studiousstudent1

You almost have to be on coke to really get into those early years lol

    65. Cole S

      Nice video son

    66. Janelle W

wait wait... but there IS an animated titanic movie from the early 2000s

    67. Elizabeth Scott

Yup, it was a good video, thanks!

    68. Amy Chivers

I feel like SNL had a really rough patch right before Sarah Schneider joined as a writer, and I kinda think she helped pull the show out of a slump.

    69. Bands And Books

I have never seen an snl episode and I probably never will, however drew got me to watch a 40 minute video on it ajshdfsad

    70. AudaciousGreen

Oh, man. If Tucker Carlson becomes president in the next decade…. Drew predicted it first! I don’t want it, but Trump proved anyone can become president if you have a national audience and money.

    71. good buddy

As someone who has watched the show continuously since 1990, I share the same opinion as you.

    72. Joey Two Chins

I used to think the 90's was the last good decade but I cake to appreciate the 2010's but this new woke snl culture is just not funny.

    73. Sir Boaty McBoatface

      SNL good

    74. Bitchslapped

So... it was ALWAYS bad except for like 5 sketches?

    75. Bryce Burgess

Honestly jack handey is one of my favorite parts of the 80s snl. He wrote so many of the best sketches like toonces the driving cat or unfrozen cavemen lawyer, and deep thoughts by jack handey

    76. bodoti qwiu

Ok listen idk how to explain this Adam Sandler isn’t funny, the prospect of him walking onto a set and making a movie is fucking hilarious

    77. Tyler McFadden

SNL will always and should always have a special place in your heart if you’re a fan of American comedy. They experiment with different ideas and pump fresh sketches out every single week, it’s not all meant to be perfect.

    78. hannah songetay

drew this video made me happy

      1. bodoti qwiu

I'm in the same boat about SNL. Loved it since I was a teenager and still love the show. Even though I don't get to watch it as much as I used to. Even thru the crap seasons.

    79. hannah

Just like you said. Yeah some things were better and ruined now but many ppl who says this doesn't miss the shows in older days but missing the memories and the period while we watched these things.

    80. hannah

I fkn hate these ppl who keep saying iT wAs fUnNiEr. Just like ppl who comments on family guy it was better in 2000s it was better in bla bla so i got mad and watched all the seasons together and found that 10s was the peak but still it's really the same. Yeah shows have some down eps but still they happened even on first seasons.

    81. watakashe

Yes I watched all of this without ever having watched a full episode of SNL and I enjoyed the hell out of it

    82. Vonnegut Chadwick

This Adam Sander slander will not be tolerated

    83. to2burger

Can we get a video about the Drake & Josh’ In L.A. Movie?

    84. AGgirl77

I love these types of videos drew makes!

    85. Tristan E

      Excellent stuff!

    86. probesport

      Simma dah nah.

    87. CheshireCat

It's so weird cause I've also heard that "SNL used to be good" but I've always loved the new era SNL. But maybe it's influenced by the fact that I've never watched a full actual episode, I've pretty much only watched recommended isolated sketches on SEprom. And that format makes it really easy to skip what doesn't really work and rewatch your favorite ones over and over

    88. Kimia Chang

    89. Christopher Wiley

      Peepeepoopoo good video 👍

    90. Elm

this is the funniest thing snl has done in 20 years.

    91. Amber Phoenix

I am late to the game. This video was so good. A walk down memory lane and a keeñ reminďer not to judge.

    92. Ronald W. Reagan

      Yeah nah the show sucks

    93. 8bitPirateGoomba

I'm in the same boat about SNL. Loved it since I was a teenager and still love the show. Even though I don't get to watch it as much as I used to. Even thru the crap seasons.

    94. Karl Shrimpbubblegum

Please don’t stop using Peacock… they hold The Office as hostages…..

    95. Drew

Yeehaw, that was a rootin' tootin' video, partner

    96. kendall brayllie

The silent steam oppositely pack because t-shirt notablely drop aboard a impossible cry. rich, frantic difference

    97. Derek Diesalot

You should do a video on AFV. It would play on the TV's while I was deployed and it seemed like every video was just someone falling down in a stupid way. Literally every video

    98. juliachristine

The fact that Adam Sandler is actually a brilliant dramatic actor. The PLOT TWIST.
